Nice place

My family and I had a wonderful time.
.my dog loved it!!!! My only complaint was fireplace was broken. We did tell property manager but no one came to fix it.

Thank you for your review. We apologize for the broken fireplace. Unfortunately, our maintenance staff was unable to fix the issue so we had to call a service person from out of town and they were unable to make it during your stay. It has since been repaired and we hope to have you back soon.

Great location
Great location to Timberline and Canaan Valley, but does need some updating on the inside. Sleeps 8 but living area only has seating for 4 so other guests had to sit on dining chairs. Cable and WIFI were great for relaxing in the evenings. Check in and check out went smoothly.

Right outside the door

This was our 6th or 7th winter stay at Maple Lodge over the past 14 years, 12 if we take away Covid-19. From our very first visit, Maple Lodge has always felt like home. Nothing has really changed which makes it all the more appealing! Our son learned to ski at Timberline, we all cross country skied from the front door to Dolly Sods and Whitegrass Cross County Ski area. Maple Lodge is convenient to everything in the Canaan Valley!
Maple Lodge and the Canaan Valley are held very dear to us and we welcome the opportunity to visit again very soon!

Thanksgiving Retreat

Great house! Lovely neighborhood. Very close to great hiking trails. The house was very clean, the kitchen well equipped. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the house.

2nd time renting

This was the second year we have rented this cabin. Last year it was so clean. This year not so much. There was cobwebs everywhere the dust was thick, the pet stains and hair everywhere was disgusting. We drove to walmart to purchase a sweeper for the rugs, dusters & air fresheners. One room upstairs smelled like a dirty litter box. For this to be a non smoking cabin. Cigarette butts were everywhere inside and outside the home. The new couch smelled like cigarettes. In the master bedroom the bedding smelled like cat spray. I washed it twice & ended up driving back to walmart to purchase a bedding set. Will not reserve this one again. Will find a different one with the same company.

Wonderful Home!

We really enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend this rental. Kitchen was well stocked. House layout was also perfect for our family & our pup. Only issue was the landlines didn't work. Not sure if phone's need replaced or what but no cell service with our provider (Verizon) and couldn't contact property office when we had a question. We figured it out but might want to address that.
Thank you for letting us know about the landline! Always feel free to send us an email on the house wifi if none of the phones work. We would have sent someone over right away to fix the issue. We hope you enjoyed your stay. Please come back and see us!

Great ski weekend

The house worked out wonderfully. Really loves having the exterior entrance to the laundry room to unload ski gear into without tracking in house.
The exterior entrance to the mud room is such a convenience sometimes! So glad you had a great stay at Maple Lodge! Please come back and see us again!

FAMILY VACATION
Amazing time, lady at the office was beyond helpful. Hot tub needed a little attention we messaged her she had the hot tub man at the house before days end. He too was very nice and a pleasure to speak with. We will definitely be using this rental again.

Friends Getaway

Everywhere a small group of us go somewhere different to just relax and catch up. This place was perfect. The dog loved it we loved it. Maple Lodge is in a great location. Close to everything you want to do in the fall, mountain biking, hiking all that. I’m sure in the winter it’s even better with skiing.
