This lovely five-bedroom four-bathroom home even offers a spacious sleeping loft to comfortably accommodate twelve. Enjoy time together in the recently renovated kitchen with an adjoining living room. The spacious deck with a natural gas grill and hot tub is sure to provide hours of relaxing conversation as well as amazing star-gazing opportunities. Enjoy a day out with Mother Nature and return to enjoy a game of pool or foosball. Relax by one of the fireplaces with a book or a movie after a day on the slopes or hiking trails. Nestled in the trees in the quiet Winterset community, Archer's Run is a practically perfect location for everything Canaan Valley. Turn right out of the driveway and it is a very short walk to Timberline Mountain's Winterset Trail. Take a left out of the driveway and it's a short walk to the border of Canaan Valley's National Wildlife Refuge. The house provides easy access in every season and is close to hiking, biking, and fishing opportunities. Second it it time to go home, you will be in love with Archer's Run.

After Christmas treat

It was a wonderful house. Location was excellent. Very well equipped with everything but a Kurig coffee pot! TV was not easy to use, we don’t do Hulu or whatever it was .

Wonderful Place for a Family/Friends Gathering
Perfect place for a group of 12 to gather. Lots of space to sit and talk, play games, eat, sleep, etc. Hot tub and fire pit outside, beautiful deck - can't think of anything that this place lacked! It made for a delightful time! Close to the ski resort and to Davis. Highly recommend a stop at Sirianni's for some delicious food too! Thanks Best of Canaan - Archer's Run truly is a best!

Great ski getaway

The house was great for our group of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids). We enjoyed the multiple living spaces which gave everyone room to spread out. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. It was a quick walk down the street (around 5-6 houses) to access the slopes at Timberline. We were there during a major snow storm and the neighborhood roads and driveway were well plowed. Only complaint is that you have to physically pick-up the door code from the rental company - they should be able to email or text it at check-in time.

Perfect retreat for a family or group

Wild and Wonderful Weekend

The cabin was beautiful. Nestled in the woods on the side of the mountain, perfect location to everything. It was clean and prepared for us. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and clean for all of us. We enjoyed the go tub both night and day. There was no firewood, however there’s a little country store just down the road that has it among some other essentials (no bacon though lol).
All in all we had a wonderful time. We went in the beginning of October and the foliage was absolutely beautiful. Our group is already talking about returning for the ski season!

Awesome Home

This house is very spacious, clean and welcoming. We have stayed in the Valley previously, but this house blew us away. The property has it all, from the five bedrooms, the large deck, hot tub to the grille.
We absolutely fell in love with the house, plan to book our next vacation soon!!

Lovely stay
The home was very lovely, some of the rooms were smaller than they appeared on line, however the place was clean and well maintained, the only thing was the hot tub, after less then 5 minutes it turned my grandsons tee shirt from gray to orange. The location was private and very beautiful. Our overall stay was wonderful.
