Fall in Canaan Valley: Fun for All

School is in session and summer is winding down. This means we are now entering one of our region’s most treasured seasons. Fall in Canaan Valley offers many engaging outdoor activities and events to help you ease the transition from warm summer day activities to our many wintertime adventures.

Cool Temps and Fun Events

Fall temperatures in Canaan Valley will be 15 to 20 degrees cooler than temperatures in surrounding cities or lower elevations, so bring extra jackets! While you’re here, enjoy these cool temps beside a fire with family and friends…maybe toast a marshmallow or two. After a long day of hiking or biking, rejuvenate mind and body in a luxurious hot tub, available in many of our rental properties.  Our cool autumn nights are also known for their clear skies, perfect for star-gazing and taking in the Milky Way.

This year, we are extending our 4th-Night-Free Special through winter! Be sure to take advantage of this opportunity to play hooky and sneak that extra day into your magical mountain vacation.

Planning on visiting our corner of Wild and Wonderful West Virginia? Check out the possibilities for fall fun and quality family time. The calendar is chock full of festivals and events, so contact us to make a reservation now.
