PEACE OF MIND PROPERTY CHECKS
Property owners worry about your property. We understand. Best of Canaan can guarantee your property will be looked after while you’re away, ensuring no “surprises” when you return.
Our professional staff will visit your home to perform a physical inspection of both the interior and exterior. Weekly, biweekly or monthly visits are available — you pick the frequency. If you’d like, we’ll stop by after a nasty wind or snow storm to see that your property is still intact.
Peace of Mind Checks include checking water pipes, water filtration systems, heating systems, cable or satellite reception, phone service, doors and windows, refrigerators and more. Eliminate the worry and forget the frustration of arriving in the mountains to find frozen pipes or a failed furnace.
We also offer emergency key service … not that you would, but … just in case you forget your key.
MAINTENANCE
From routine grass mowing and weed eating to landscaping and custom-built outdoor fireplaces and Bar-B-Ques, Best of Canaan can help.
Considering adding some trees, shrubs or flowers? Have trees that need to be taken down or are already down? Best of Canaan can help with all of your lawn care and landscaping needs.
Seasonal maintenance service can also include opening and closing of foundation vents and cleaning of gutters. Design a seasonal list just for your home by adding services including leaf raking, chimney sweeping, insulating pipes, replacing smoke detector batteries and more.
General Handyman Services are available as well.

HOT TUB SERVICES
Kelly Roberts and his professional staff have over 10 years’ experience in hot tub service and maintenance.
Hot Tub Services include routine checks of chemical and water levels, draining and cleaning of the hot tub and filter and mechanical repairs. Schedule hot tub service as often as you please, but we highly recommend, at a minimum, biweekly checks in the summer and weekly checks throughout the winter.
Need to replace your hot tub lid or upgrade your entire spa? We are also a distributor for hot tub sales through Marque and PDC Spas.
HOUSEKEEPING
Small clean, big clean, fall clean, spring clean … our housekeeping personnel have it all under control.
Weekly, biweekly, monthly or annual services are available. Yes, we do windows — interior and exterior, high and low.
Let us clean up after you leave or prepare your home before you arrive by turning up the heat and leaving a light on. Trash pickup from your home is also available, with or without cleaning services.
Our professional and trustworthy housekeeping staff is available 7 days a week.
FIREWOOD
Year-round delivery and stacking of firewood is available. Both seasoned and unseasoned wood is available. Please phone us for current pricing.
SNOW REMOVAL
Whether you plan to be here or not, snow removal is an important part of owning a property in the mountains.
Our experienced staff can provide you with a quote for snow removal based on the location of your home and the length of your driveway. Allow us to ensure that you, your family and friends always have easy access to your home.
Deck, porch, walk and even roof clearing are also available.
