Perfect for our Family Ski Trip

Great location! About a 10 minute drive to the slopes and near a gas station/convenience store. Parking was flat and well-plowed. House was well-worn but in ok shape. Cleaning was lacking in some areas (crumbs still on table and hair in shower), but bedding and towels were clean. Fireplace was a huge plus after a day of skiing. Kitchen was well stocked for family meals.

Great family get-away

We really had a nice time on this rental. First time in the "Valley" and traveled in from Pittburgh. We got to go ice skating, skiing and sledding. Condo was very nice and cozy, very well decorated and felt like home. TV channels and controllers are always a challenge in all rentals we ever stay at but we worked through it to watch a little of the Super Bowl. The team at the rental company were very friendly and very helpful. Will be back 4-sure!

Renting the unit through Best of Canaan was easy and a good value for Christmas week.
The unit had everything you would need, even a small Christmas tree with lights.

Great stay with minor annoyance

We loved the place, location and amenities. Clean and taken care of. The only thing that caused a minor annoyance was the lack of hand soap and toilet paper. There are three bathrooms, but only one had soap. Two bathrooms had next to no toilet paper on the roll with zero back ups anywhere in the unit. So three bathrooms quickly became one, which isn’t what we rented. All in all it was fine, but it is something you should know about because it’s annoying for guests to have to be expected to bring items that should be supplied.
Thank you for stopping by the office to pick up more supplies. That was an honest oversight and we appreciate your understanding. Looking forward to your return!
