This is as high up as you can lodge to ski in and ski out on Salamander, Timberline Mountain's famous beginner's slope. The skiers in your group will love it! Spectators and photographers will too. Snolodge offers great ski access and spectacular views too. It is so easy to stop for lunch, warm by the fire or become a spectator from the outside hot tub! Let it snow, let it snow! Snolodge offers garage parking plus everything you need to hunker down and enjoy winter. This spacious four-bedroom home is the perfect place for a multigenerational get-together in every season. It is a wonderful spot for family and friendly get-togethers. The open main level floor plan will work well for the cooks, the kids, and the couch potatoes too. Shoot a game of pool while supper simmers and finish the day gazing at Canaan Valley's amazing night skies. It is short drive to tourist attractions like Blackwater Falls, Canaan Resort, and the towns of Davis and Thomas. Snolodge really does feel like home. Your well behaved dog is welcome to vacation too, with a small pet fee. ALL OR 4-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES WITH GOOD CLEARANCE AND GREAT TIRES ARE A DEFINITE REQUIREMENT FOR ALL WINTER VISITORS!!

Great Ski In/Ski Out Rental

You definitely need AWD or 4WD to get to the Snolodge if the conditions are snowy/icy. Other than that, the view is amazing, right on the Salamander, beautiful wood fireplace and lots of room for guests.

Great location,
Great location, responsive management group when issues arose and couldn’t beat the convenience/location for the price. Its not the most updated, but had everything you need for a couple days of skiing, including fully stocked wood for the fireplace. The hot tub overlooking the slopes was great with kids bc it kept everyone entertained!

Summer Retreat
Fantastic getaway in the mountains. Check in/out was quick and courteous. Very accommodating location and plenty of space in the rental. Highly recommended.

Snolodge Rental

We stayed for a three nights during one of the last weekends of February. The property was great, we played pool, sat in the hot tub and most importantly we hit the slopes all in one location. Everyone loved the location, those who skied and those who didn't, because we could stop and see them during our runs. I wish it was a little easier to get on the slope but it wasn't too bad. We had plenty of room for everyone and may ask more to join us for next season, since we booked it again. Thank you.

Fall family getaway

We normally wait to go to Canaan every spring and every fall but since the pandemic that has kind of went to the back burner , however it was so good to go down and stay in a beautiful home and enjoy God‘s creation with the whole family. Picking a house with the amenities that you like can at times be a challenge but,the Best Of Canaan Realty helped us and we feel as though they hit a home run. Great weekend beautiful home nice weather.
