Spring, summer and fall, the infamous Monongahela National Forest hiking trails abound, practically from your doorstep. Hit the slopes, the trail, the path, or the water…this is a wonderful location to enjoy everything beautiful Tucker County has to offer. The condo offers a full and fully equipped kitchen, WIFI, satellite TV (limited) and amazing stargazing opportunities! 4 Wheel Drive vehicles are required for winter visitors.

Best of Canaan, for sure!

Everything clean and well kept. Everything needed. Lots of supplies even. Extra towels and pillows. TV in front room AND. master bedroom. Wi-fi is fast. Has a great view of the valley and nice chair on the deck to watch the sunset. Will be back!

Great place--enjoyed the quiet and the view. Nice to see snow but a cleaned parking lot. Everything well stocked and the TV and wifi actually work.

Great night at Tucker Dog

I needed to stay overnight for my volunteer work at the Wildlife Refuge. Best of Canaan folks are always the best to check with--friendly, professional, cooperative, accurate. The Rucker Dog condo is a particularly nice spot--right on the parking level, but with a nice view! And everything you'd need. And extra supplies if needed in the closets.
Highly recommended!

Ms. Patrick and the whole Best of Canaan team had everything ready and did all possible to take care of details. The second bedroom even has its own bathroom. I had stayed there once before, and a Diet Sprite I had left in the fridge was still there--but back, I assume, when I rebooked. Wow--a nice personal, and unexpected touch.

A great restful night at the "Dog"!

Beaver Ridge 112 ("Tucker Dog") is a great place to stay--all the amenities you could wish for at a good price. With 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, it's especially well appointed for a family. Since it's on the parking lot level, the access is easy if stairs are an issue, and the view is excellent even though it's not at the top. It's managed by Best of Canaan, which, based on my long experience visiting the Valley, really is the best.

Tucker Dog is great and so is Donna at Best of Canaan!

Folks at Best of Canaan were friendly and efficient as usual. The condo was in great shape and well prepared. I had trouble with the Roku TV setup, but luckily I didn't come up here for TV. Wifi was blazing fast. I also highly recommend Canaan Valley for a getaway. And Beaver Ridge is ideally located--in the Valley but close to the town of Davis.

Comfy Condo

Very comfortable condo in a great area. Located a reasonable drive to the Cheat River and Seneca Rocks. Close to Davis and Thomas for shopping and eating.
