It’s lovely here! Or perhaps you are more of a, this place is awesome person? No matter how you put it, Zeeplace is a lovely, recently upgraded home in Timberline Mountain’s Northface community. It’s a very short walk to Salamander, the very popular 2-mile ski trail. Don’t mess with loading the gear and the kids. Zeeplace makes family ski trips so much easier! Nestled on the rocks high on the hill, Zeeplace sits beside a mountain stream. Year-round enjoy the tranquil songs the babbling brook provides. Relax on the deck, beverage in hand, and soak in all the nature you can! Enjoy evenings by the fire and friendly meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. In every season hikers will love the proximity to hiking trails and the infamous Dolly Sods. It is a short drive to Blackwater Falls, Davis, Thomas, and all things Tucker County! Winter visits will require 4-wheel drive vehicles and possibly chains too. No exceptions!

Bigger Than it Looks!

Comfortable home within walking distance of the lodge and easy access to Salamander. We had a lovely stay and the cabin is well equipped. Be prepared, the 4WD requirement for the driveway is important!

Ski Weekend with the family
We had the best weekend at this property - great setup at the house, easy ski-on access to the mountain, loved the hot tub and fireplace after a long day of skiing. Great weekend!

Great family ski trip!
Zeeplace offers a perfect family-friendly layout with 2 cozy downstairs bedrooms and a charming loft master bedroom. The cabin's furnishings beautifully match the mountain setting and the kitchen is well stocked. The location is conveniently near the slopes, though there's a steep walk to the trail. Our kids loved the evening hot tub sessions. The management, Best of Cannan, was exceptionally responsive and helpful. Overall, a fantastic stay and recommended for a mountain getaway.

Fall Escaped

We loved being nestled in the woods and hiking distance to Dolly Sods. The house was well equipped and nicely decorated. We had a late arrival and the staff at Best of Canaan took good care of us.

Cozy Place
Zeeplace was in an awesome location. Tucked in, very cozy, all needed supplies, loved the creek that runs behind the home.The pic of the home can throw you off, the home is very spacious. Just lovely.

Wonderful Getaway
Great launchpad for Dolly Sods hiking. House was comfortable and had everything we needed. Hot tub was fantastic! The lower bedroom had a really comfortable bed, the others could use an upgrade.

Great weekend getaway

House worked great for our family of 4 weekend getaway. Great location and plenty of space. Just a short walk to slopes but a very steep walk. Heating was very noisy but we got used to it. All in all, we would recommend and we would stay again if we come back to timberline mountain.

Ski-tastic

We loved this little house that felt like a home away from home for us. The contemporary floor plan, Beautiful views out every window, proximity to the slopes and wood burning fireplace were big hits. The house was spotlessly clean and Best of Canaan was cheerful, friendly and easy to work with. Downsides: Mattresses in the downstairs bedrooms are getting tired, and probably should be replaced for next season, and sadly the previous tenants did something to the hot tub, rendering it unusable the first 2 nights of our stay. The tub’s jet system also has sustained some damage, and only one of the controls was working.

Great location. Clean 3 br 2 ba. Hot tub good. Kitchen completely stocked. Grill. Only negative was the firewood was not covered it was little difficult getting fire going. The stream was relaxing. Would reccomend. ��
